25 Years and Counting!
Hey Gang,
Thank you so much for reading this blog and commenting. Just to let you know, today Michele and I get on a plane for the first two-week vacation we have ever taken. We are celebrating 25 years of amazing marriage. I am so grateful to God for His gift of a great wife. “He that finds a wife finds a good thing.” I found a great thing!!!
We are going to take a 12-day cruise. I can’t wait. So I won’t be blogging daily. I may write a few, but I make no promises. God has been so good to us; it is like we get to live in a dream world. Living the dream is awesome. It is going to be a great summer of souls and miracles.
In Proverbs it says, “For a lack of wood the fire goes out.”
What wood are you putting on the fire burning in your heart?
Do you want to have a bonfire of revival for the Lord?
What would it take for God to explode in your heart?
Please post a comment.
Love ya,
Pastor

Congrats. Yes indeed you are a blessed couple. Have a safe and fun time.
The wood on my life fire is… Matthew 6:25-34 As well as Matthew 7:8-27. Words spoken by Yashua (Jesus)causes revival daily for me!
God exploded in My heart when the realization took hold that God has been happy with me from the day of my conception. I was created because God know I would praise the Lord for all that is and will be that I will Bless the Blessing. God is even happier because I believe in Yashua (Jesus) as the I AMs only begotten Son. That I’m willing to share the Good News that Yashua (Jesus) is the only way to every lasting life with God.
In someways daily you could say I burn the wooden cross I see Yashua (Jesus)once upon. No longer is he upon that cross. Yashua lives!!!!! Waiting to return, judge and establish the New Jerusalem. Amen. Opps didn’t mean to make this such a long comment. Have a wonderful trip.
If you remember send me a post card. I collect the silly things. P.O.Box 7071, Oak Ridge,TN 37831
A very happy 25th wedding anniversary. What a great testimony for your family, friends and church family.
I like the analogy of the bonfire revival. You’ve got me to thinking about the phrase “God explosion” in my heart…
ps My husband & I will celebrate 25 yrs of marriage in August. Very blessed!
You have been a blessing to me and my family. We found your church in 2007 through a local rock station and we have been hooked since then. We can’t get enough of HIM!
We are all on fire for God!!! We are blessed and FPC is totally awesome.
Congratulations on your Silver Wedding Anniversary! It’s great to know that marriage is still sacred. My husband and I will be celebrating our Silver in August.
CONGRATS Pastor!!!!!!!!! Going to miss ya at worship.Have a GREAT time on the cruise.Love ya
I know we all pray that you and Michele will have the most wonderful time possible. Even with imperfections, just know that God uses you both to be an example to all of us. What a delight to experience 25 years of working through marriage with your best friend! That is an awesome testiment! God bless you both!
Those questions are great! I’ve been thinking about them for days.
What indeed are we using for the fuel in our hearts, and in fact are we intentionally feeding that fire? What can we do to feed that fire to make it explode for God? What great questions!
I’m still comming up with the answers. Watching myself and what fuel I put on the fire…and I’m finding that its really not that much.
Yes prayer, yes reading the bible, yes worship, but when I look at what the majority of my time is spent on…-is not spent on gathering and applying fuel to the fire.
The question then is where would God take me if I made a concerted effort to feed that fire, not with the goal of a camp fire…regular existence, but with the goal of a bonfire?
Hmmm.
What if we all did?
