AN AMAZING DAY
Hey Gang,
Today, Tuesday January 20, is an historical day. If you are like me, you wanted to and got to see the inauguration of our first black President of the United States of America. It proves that in America you can make it and nothing can stop you from achieving your full potential. You are your limiter, not your color, race, or background. I asked an African-American friend today how he felt watching our new President being sworn in. He said, “I didn’t vote for him but I wept as I watched.” I can’t know how blacks felt today, but regardless of how they voted most were impacted at a deep level. It was a great day for race reconciliation. I hope you are praying for the new President no matter how you voted. I’m praying for revival in the White House. What is holding you back from being all you can be?
Love,
Pastor Chris

Christians often have a tendency to consider moral issues when voting. Lets take abortion for example. Since Roe v. Wade nothing has changed regardless of a President’s position on abortion. I feel like it is all a numbers game. They calculate how many voters they can get from various demographics and issues and see where the cards fall.
We need leaders not worried about being popular.
p.s. it was an amazing day!
