Second Book Finally Out! HELP!

Hey Friends,

Well, after years of work and prayer, my second book is about to be here. We had almost 10,000 copies of the first book, The Climb of Your Life:Reaching the Peak of Your Potential, out and it is still selling. Now, we have the second book: The Plan of Your Life: Managing What Matters Most!  This book will help hundreds of thousands of people grow closer to Jesus. The bottom line of the book is helping people create a personal growth plan in the five most important areas of their lives.

I am so fired up about its potential for the Kingdom of God. The book was written as a story, in a creative way to hold the reader’s attention while helping him or her to grow. The first 5,000 copies will be at Faith Promise the first weekend in December. I am now pre-selling them. You can purchase them on this website or at Faith Promise.

This book will not only help you, but anyone you give it to. I encourage you to give it as Christmas gifts or stocking suffers. This is a gift that will keep giving for the rest of eternity.

So, here is how can you HELP:

1. Pray for the book to “Grow Legs” and get into the hands of hundreds of thousands that will benefit from it.

2. Get a copy for yourself, read it and write a testimony to be added to this website.

3. Get a copy for friends and family. Christmas is the perfect time!

4. Help me get the word out by Facebook, Twitter, or any other social media you have access to. You can link to this site and get the word out.

5. Give me other ideas of how to spread the word.

Thanks in advance for your help and prayers. Together we can continue to add value to so many others.

Love and appreciate you,

Pastor Chris

P.S. Nobody makes a huge difference unless a lot of people want him or her to do so. We are better together!

Orders From Headquarters!

Hey Friends,
I had a phrase jump out of the Word this morning and hit me like a ton of bricks: “After He, by the Holy Spirit had given orders…” (Acts 1:2) This is a powerful phrase for all Believers, but even more for leaders in the Army of God (The Church). We all agree that Jesus is our Lord and Commander in Chief, don’t we? Of course we do!

As the Commander in Chief, He is to be honored and obeyed in His every order! To refuse an order from our Commander in Chief would be the same as insubordination. To disobey a direct order will carry with it serious consequences! In our military in the U.S.A. you could be dishonorably discharged, court-martialed, or thrown in the brig. Obedience to every order is to be immediate and without hesitation.

This phrase in Acts is not a normal phrase. Our Lord is leaving and giving us our MARCHING ORDERS! We are to be His witnesses. Our job is to carry His Name to the ends of the earth. This is the calling of every believer, not just “missionaries.” You are a missionary and you are called to “full time ministry” no matter where you draw a paycheck.

With all this that the Lord has laid on us, especially leaders, how can we omit the command? ORDERS FROM HEADQUARTERS

Leaders, no matter what your gifting or ministry bent, leading the Church to reach the lost is our highest calling. “Do the work of an evangelist.” It is so easy to slip from the high calling to get busy doing other things that are important! You can do the other things, just include reaching the lost as the focal point. For instance, helping the poor. Do it with a passion but just don’t leave the gospel out, or else we will watch the well-fed poor go to hell.

It is our natural inclination to have discipleship drift! This is where we move into FEEDING the saints as they cry out for more, more, more. Give us more deeper… while the lost go to hell and the orders are left disobeyed. The Church was birthed to reach the lost. Deeper, deeper, deeper is what you do in your prayer closet. Leaders, don’t fall prey to the cry of those sitting the the “I-Chair!”

Are you obeying the ORDERS FROM HEADQUARTERS? It matters!

Love ya – just a reminder,

Pastor Chris

P.S. LIT Conferences will help you obey the command of the Commander!
