CHRISTMAS MIRACLE
We at Faith Promise Church are in the middle of a December to Remember with three huge weekends wrapped around the birth of Christ. We have just completed two, as I write this blog. I have been praying for thousands, that they would experience a much-needed Christmas miracle. Let us know of Christmas miracles you need or that you have experienced. Your need or experience could help build the faith of others. Looking forward to hearing from you.

What an awesome service this past weekend and I just know that this weekend will be the same,if not better.Yes,I am in need of a miracle,I guess you could say.As you know Chris,I am a recovering addict myself and I don’t have very much clean time,but I’m really trying.It is SOO hard some days.The cravings,the compulsions,it’s just plain right HARD some days!! Also,GOD has blessed us with a new child this year.My son,Camryn was born this past March.What a GIFT from GOD!!! I’ve already got my Christmas gift,my precious son.He is the BEST “High” I have ever tried!!!! But Pastor, I’m scared to death!!!!! I’m SOOOO scared that I will mess it all up and lose my new son and family.That’s what will happen if I relapse again.I WANT to be a good father and husband.I want to be the man GOD wants me to be.Will you PLEASE just say an extra prayer for me and ask GOD to give me strength? HE knows my heart and how much I want to live for Him.Thank You Chris for being my pastor and THANK YOU for all you do for FPC!!!!! I LOVE YOU,Scott

Thanks brother. Hang in there, if I can do it so can you. Have you gone to celebrate recovery? It meets at FPC on Monday nights at 7:00 You will find some more help there. I am praying for you and so is everyone that reads this blog. God has great plans for you. Daily allow the Holy Spirit to take control of your life and heart. He can give you the power to stand strong and clean. To be the man God wants you to be. He wants you to be His witness and testimony and trophy of His grace and power.

Scott- Stay Connected! When God delievers, He does it completely. You are a new creature in Christ, old things are passed away, you are a new man in Him! I’ve worked in christian Drug/Alcohol rehabilitation for over 30 years, and have witnessed the transforming power of Christ in the lives of men and women everyday. There is nothing to difficult for God. He is the God of second chances and is faithful to complete what He has started. God bless you on your new journey and wonderful future in Christ.

Just wanted to share a journey our family has been on for the past 8 months.
Our son Adam has had Hodgkins Lymphoma (he just turned 22 years old Dec. 16th)…it has been an amazing journey, many emotions…but alot of peace that passes all understanding!
This is where your hands are tied and you really do have to Trust God…trust that He loves our son more than we do…trust that His timing is perfect….trust that He is in control!
This past week Adam had a PET Scan done and the results showed NO ACTIVE CANCER!!! Praise the Lord!!
We are all doing the HAPPY DANCE!!!
Adam has one more chemo treatment Dec. 23rd and then he will be having 5 weeks of radiation treatments for scar tissue in his chest.
Our prayers were answered ….
It will be a Cancer Free Christmas!!

Pastor,THANK YOU for praying for me.I have been to Celebrate Recovery,a long time ago.Tim and Cherly Stallings are GREAT!!! I need to get back in there tho.I LOVE FPC and all the people!!!!! I want to start this new year in some sort of service for FPC,but don’t know what would be best for me.I LOVE YOU!!MERRY CHRISTMAS Pastor!!!!!
