Distracted
Hey Friends,
I thought yesterday’s blog would be a hit, and it had the all-time most hits for one day. I think we hit a nerve. I love disciplines like we did yesterday because they help us clarify our priorities. Why can’t we just live them out daily? You enjoy life more when you live out your priorities. What’s our problem? I think I have discovered at least part of it.
We live in a world of distractions. We all love to watch a good magician – he can distract us while he does the illusion. The world around us has been set up by the Devil to distract us from what is important. If you already are a Christ-follower then the Devil can’t change that, but he can get us off track. He will take any win he can get, no matter how small. As you read my last words letter, many of you realized what was most important in your own life. If you did the exercise then it helped you even more. We know what things are most important, yet they are not where we spend our time and effort. We keep getting distracted with lesser things and priorities. Hebrews 12:1 says, “Fix your eyes on Jesus…” We must keep our eyes on the prize or we will miss it.
Remember the Devil is the master of distraction. He has ruined the lives and testimonies of so many Christ-followers by getting them off track and down the wrong road. If you did not write the letter we discussed yesterday then get cracking! Let’s pray for each other that we do not lose focus and miss the mark. God has big plans for us and we must stay focused on what is most important.
Faith, family, then all else comes afterward.

As I look at my godly daughter samantha losing one of her twins. I am greatful of Gods mercy and grace that she is able to have already 2 beautiful children. chase and rose who are so wonderful. My daughter her husband and i know that God is so awesome he knows whats best and we know that good will become of one of the twins weither the child dies or lives in the womb. We all know (Samantha,her husband Chip and I)God is in control. Gods will be done. We all here have totally given the twins to Our God and King. We love God no matter what happens. We will always put are trust in him. Despite satans attack on us. Thank you brother chris the for being a godly pastor (and thank you godly staff at fpc)for all your prayers. Thank you for the daily reminder in blog how Our Great Father in heaven is in control and knows whats best even up to our own lives on the line. God bless for keeping our paths straight!

Yes, it is so important to keep the focus on Jesus and giving him are best 24/7. I must be disciplined in all areas of my life and keep the focus. There is spiritual warfare in this world…we must keep that disgusting devil at bay as he does feed us with delusion,deceit,dirt,and distraction…Not a nice guy!
Not someone I want to be friends with…God is the Prize and he loves so much and wants us on his team 24/7 and then some…I hope your Tuesday is terrific! God bless!

When I was done writing a last words letter-I found that worshiping God daily before my feet ever hit the floor is up most important.Having the Kingdom here on earth. You say how in the world can that happen. Well kneeling in ones bed of course with our head to my pillow. Opposit of at the side of the bed at night. Then my feet hit the floor and I’m walking in faith with the Holy Spirit,this becomes the challenge. Following Jesus examples. When we identify with Our Lord and Savior and the close relationship he had with God Almighty. We then too can see ourself as Gods sons and daughters. Jesus knowing that he was Gods only begotten son gave him all he needed to have for beginning to bring others around to serving the God of Abraham.
We pray humbly- God gives and gives aboundently. You already know this of our Creator. All else will come in Gods time. We are to aline ourself with Gods ways and thoughts. Faith is outstanding it needs to be backed by knowing out right God is Almighty,Jesus is our Salvation,and the Holy Spirit shall help and teach Gods Sons and Daughters.
I enjoy worshiping in Spirit now. I’m not waiting for the hear after to do so. So often we are waiting for the final journey to worship in the Spirit. God is looking for it now from us in all we do each day.
