Do I Walk Through The Door?
Hey Gang,
In the ministry as in every area of life, doors open from time to time. Should I walk through the door? As a Pastor, this is a question that I get asked often. If you lead in any form of ministry you have been asked the same question. So how do you answer the question? This is a big deal. In the many years I have been in the ministry and following Jesus I have faced the question many times myself. What do we do?
I have walked through many of the doors. Each one God blessed and took me to another level. One thing we must see about going through doors is after you do, other opportunities will open up to you! This is one of the coolest things about walking by faith through the doors that God opens. I have noticed that many people that chose not to go through the door didn’t have as many opportunities as I did. I wonder if we think of the opportunities we will miss that we haven’t thought about by choosing the easy and known path. The doors that open are hard to see what will happen on the other side and impossible to see what other doors will open. This requires that we walk by faith and not by sight. “Those that walk in the flesh can not please God.” This in one of the reasons walking with Jesus is such an adventure. Are you in the habit of walking through doors?
What doors are you facing right now?
Some of the doors I am looking at are huge and miraculous. Praise the Lord for His grace.
Just a thought.
Love ya,
Pastor

Have not gotten the abilaty to walk thur doors-as my Lord and Savior can do since his resurrection!
I have taken the opportunity to open a door when the one closed behind me and even went in a few windows in my time.
Currently I have a number of doors to put in proper perspective and open the correct one. With the Holy Spirit leading I will have a bright future. Thank you for your prayers! Continued prayers welcomed.

What a message to consider Pastor Chris. Thanks for putting things out there to keep us encouraged and mindful about the opportunities God provides for us to see and act upon. You’re right, walking by faith isn’t for the faint at heart. But, walking without it would just be pure hell. As always, the guidance and prayer are beautiful blessings to all who have been presented the door to grow with you for God’s amazing glory.
