Do You See You?
Hey Friends,
This post is so important. I can’t express how vital for your victory this really is! The question today is: “Do you see you?” I have to tell you, I have been blown away by how blind most people are to themselves. I deal daily with people – more than I would have ever dreamed. Now, after dealing with thousands what I see is that most miss their blind spots.
Not only do most miss their blind spots, but they either justify strongholds or ignore them altogether. I watch people steal, lie, cheat, view porn, commit adultery, walk out on their families and so many other things that it is unbelievable. When they are confronted, they are shocked that you could even ask them such a question. The more you deal with people, the deeper the rabbit hole goes. Are there any of us who are self-aware? This is so potential-limiting, I can’t overemphasize it enough.
Most will argue why they think they are right and ultimately refuse any help, so they stay stuck. You know one of the things that bothers me the most? It is the fact that they will miss their potential and so will the Church of the Living God. Do your eyes open when it comes to you?
The Bible is called a “mirror.” As we read the Word it reveals what we are and where we are spiritually. Are you open to hear? PLEASE don’t miss what God wants to tell you. Where are your weak points? What is stopping you from reaching your potential? What do you think the Lord would like to do in your heart?
Please wake up and see what is in the mirror. If you don’t, you will miss what you could be for Christ. If you miss your potential and the church misses its potential, where does that leave the lost and our dying culture? In Ephesians 2:10, God is clear that He planned stuff for you to do. Missing it means more than we can imagine. God would have spared Sodom for 10 who were righteous.
Love you too much to let you stay the same!

Pastor,
How you see the role of others in helping us see our blind spots? Proverbs 27:17 tells us; Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another. It seems so little of this is going on. Perhaps to many people feel they should be able to figure it out on their own, maybe that expectation is forced on them.

Kyle, great question. First we sould have to trust people enough to trust then whey they tell us something about us. Second we would have to quit arguing with others when they tell us stuff. Your verse is perfect. It we would take off the facade of perfection and get real the Church would be so much better and stronger.
Sadly I watch marriages fall, ministries misused, groups destroyed, and lives torn apart while we think we are totally innocent. Blindness is contagious.
thanks
Yes I do see me! I’m not purfect only forgiven. I’m Gods Daughter. I’m Gods because of Yashua (Jesus) and my full belief in the salvation from God thur Yashua. I maynot anylonger be present for everyone of your sermons on Sat. night but I am there in Spirit. For our Lord has said from ages past we do not worship on Mt Zion but in Spirit. I’m glad that God looks at me and communicates with me in spirit and not as my fellow men look at me. I have Gods power to delegate and not be over extended in my life. I’m not God! God has everyones life and the cosmos in control. I see that God wants me to pray continually and to share the love of Yashua (Jesus). To sing hyms of praises to our Lord. “Stop doing wrong, learn to do right! Seek justice, encourage the oppressed. Defend the cause of the fatherless, plead the case of the widow.” -Isa. 1:17. I see me as a great minister for the Kingdom of God. And no one is going to tell me I’ve got an authority problem. For the authority is Yashua. I follow only him and lesson to the Holy Spirit. I have no degree of ministry from any school here on earth. I do have a degree in Gods eyes. I see myself working alongside of God. In the end tho God has the final word and God changes and grows the words I share with my brothers and sisters of this temporary journey. As well as I see myself always growingand learning from the teachers God places in my life journey.
Shalom my friend and brother in Christ Jesus.
Ginger,
I thank you for your blog entry, because it encourages me and makes me smile. Your enthusiasm is cool and infectious. Enthusiasm for God is something I fight to keep, so I appreciate you sharing yours.
I don’t know you, but I’m going to have to confront a friend about something in January that reminds me of something you wrote. It may not apply to you at all. My friend is slowly getting more and more separated from the church family. If you don’t have Christians that you’re accountable to, please get them to make sure you don’t veer off track.
I feel a little hypocritical writing this, because not too long ago I critiqued someone else on the blog for extrapolating based on a short blog entry. Honestly, it feels different this time. Maybe because I’m thinking too much about my friend. Dunno.
