Don’t You Hate Circumstances?
Hey Gang,
Watch the news, listen to talk radio, or just listen to people complain. It is all around us. I am as guilty as the next person. The question of the day is: do we believe our theology? Do we believe “God is” all knowing, all powerful, all present, and all good? If we do then we would chill out some. We would trust God and do our best to serve and follow Him.
Yesterday I finished Esther in my quiet time. I was overwhelmed at the horrible circumstances the Jews were facing and yet God had put all the people in place to take care of the problem. It was miraculous. Mordecai and Esther had an opportunity, they took it and God moved to save the Jewish race. Pretty amazing; but isn’t God amazing? Can we move to present times and trust God?
I believe the Lord has placed the Church here “for such a time as this.” God knew we would be here and facing the problems we are facing. He wants us to make a difference. He wants us to get involved with the problems our friends and family are facing. Do we care? Do we believe God is sovereign? Do you believe God can use YOU? I do, and I believe He put you here for right now! What is your part to play in righting the circumstances we face? I challenge you to read Esther (it is a short book) and watch how God moves in circumstances. He is here and He cares!
I love ya, it’s just a thought!

Shalom,
Yes to all your questions on “God is”.
God is amazing!
What stands out in Esther to me is how her servants rallied to fasted and prayed with her before she went to her King on behalf of her people. How God soften the Kings heart to leason to Esther. It was not easy for her to wait for the Kings septer to lower and allow her to come forward and talk with him about the matter at hand.
We all must pray before speeking on a matter of grave importance. How many of us remember to think before we speak? How many brothers and sisters become hurt because the second commandment is forgotten to be done daily? Prayer has great power! We don’t have to wait for God as Esther had to wait for her King to lower his septer. We are heard!!!!!! The moment we open a conversation up with God our Creator is there for us. Now answering us is a time table only God has for us not our time table.
Why am I writting a comment to you that I already know you know for sure.
Good to have you back!!!!!!!

P.S. I think you missed a great IHOP meeting in Knoxville while you were away on the other hand that might be this weekend. International House of Prayer is meeting in Knoxville,TN
Chris,
Good stuff! God continues to challenge and equip Christians who “just want more”. God can not and will not settle for lukewarmess, it’s all or nothing with Him. There are two books that have really had a HUGE impact on me recently,Crazy Love by Frances Chan and The Hole in our Gospel by Richard Sterns. The message is clear God does not make mistakes and His timing is perfect which means our time to act is now.
The question for the church (global) is really simple…do you really know Jesus? Do you really love Jesus? Are you really to show hiim?
Tozer said “Much of our difficulty as seeking Christians stems from our unwillingness to take God as He is and adjust our lives accordingly. We insist upon trying to modify Him and bring Him nearer to our own image.”
When we see God for who He truly is…we will do what He truly asks of us…which simply LET GO AND LET GOD.
Let go…of your earthly desires
Let go…of your earthly dreams
Let go…of your materlism
Let go…of need for a title and pay
Let go…of your doubt
Let God…show you the world through His eyes
Let God…direct your paths
Let God…mold and shape you
Let God…take over your money
Let God…take over your family
Let God…love on you today
love ya Bro!
There is such peace in letting go and trusting!
As it should be!
