Hey Gang,

“You know Pastor, you are always pushing people to reach their potential; how far can I go?”  That is a great question and I get it all the time.  Sorry for the answer, but I haven’t got a clue.  Only God knows your true potential because He placed it in you.  I’m not sure how far you can go, but I can tell you it’s farther than you are today!  If you’re still breathing then God’s not finished with you yet.  So keep pushing.  Every day I push myself outside of my comfort zone.  Not in every area, maybe just one or two.  For us to reach our potential we must push the envelope on at least one edge.  It does not have to be far, just outside your zone.  A little daily and pretty soon you have grown a lot.  Every day push it: share Jesus a little more,  take a step a little farther out in faith, give a little more this week, serve someone that is hard to serve, believe God will use you to a greater degree, or anyone of a thousands ways to march off the map.

The map is easy, you’ve been there before.  But to march off the map, well that is a little different.  Easter was awesome, but we had to stretch ourselves just to decide to go to the venue.  Everyone on stage was nervous.  I was way out of my zone, yet I walked up and did it.  Afraid?  You bet, but let’s go! And as usual when we step out of the zone, God shows up.  It is so cool.  We are all afraid of things and we all have to go on anyway.  As I sit alone this morning with my dreams and visions, it makes my stomach tighten up.  How God?  All I get is one step at a time and many of those steps are not easy.  Some I have never taken before, some are hard, some I really don’t know how to take, but God does.  So today where will you push it? Yes, you yourself.  In what areas will you walk by faith?  What do you need to believe God to move in?  Just imagine if every Christ follower did it.  What if we all marched off the map by faith – what could God do with that?  We would change the world, or at least our part of it. How far can you go? Beyond where you are today.

Let’s move out!

Love Ya,

Pastor
