I Still Stand Amazed!
Hey Gang,
I am blown away at how good God is to so many of us. Today our Ex. Pastor Josh Whitehead came into my office with a letter he had just received. It stated that we were on the list of the “Top 100 fastest growing Churches in America” again. I was floored and thought there must be some mistake. Wow, we know at least somewhat of how good God is and yet we still are shocked when He shows up. Just like the disciples praying for Peter’s release from prison and then shocked he was at the door.
By now we should never be shocked at the blessings and miracles of our heavenly Father. He is so good to us, I know He is to me. Sometimes I feel like I’m His favorite. Do you ever feel that way? I feel like His blessings are overtaking me and our Church. I watch weekly as God shows up and changes and challenges thousands. He is growing a great Church and I believe we will rock Knoxville and the world. Are you ready for God to do some great things? I am, and I believe He is doing it right now. I believe He wants to use you in His great plans.
I give God all the glory and credit for how Faith Promise is growing and seeing people set free to do His will and build His Kingdom. I stand amazed that I get to be a part of all He is doing.

wow that is so true i strongly believe Faith Promise is growing quite rapidly through God being the foundation and our ROCK as well without God there would be nothing…..im so proud and thankful to be apart of this wonderful ever changing church…….Couldnt ask for better……I love my Faith Promise…..
Pastor Chris, God has plantet many gifted people to help grow His Church. Thank you and to the staff and volunteers who said “yes” to do His bidding. “He’s got the whole world in His hands”. Let us not forget that!
Yes, God is great beyond our imagination!!! This is a motivator for all of Faith Promise to work harder to fulfill the Great Commission of making disciples of all…
Give Him Praise!
First of all…this is kind of funny, where it says Ex. pastor I was reading too quick I guess and thought I read Ex-Pastor…I was thinking to myself…”Oh no, Josh cant be gone….he’s a wonderful asset to our church”. Then it clicked Ex. as in Executive…LOL. Anyways….I have been to many churches in my life and never have I felt God move the way he does through Faith Promise! I feel blessed every day to be attending such a wonderful church. Talk about one big happy worshipping family!

I had picked up one of the CDs someone left at work and started listening…it was like God smacked me in the back of the head and said DUH! Funny how that works. I got onto the website and started listening to some of the sermon series. It seemed like no matter what order I listened to them in they were relevant at that moment in my life and gave me some strength for what I was facing in the time. I am so amazed each time God works in my life and I should just praise him rather then stand there with my mouth wide open.
I just wanted to say thank you to you and your church and this website…without it the past month of my life could have been unchanged.
I plan to attend a service this weekend and hopefully God will show me where I am supposed to be and what I am supposed to be doing.
Please pray for me on my journey.
Pastor Chris – you are always so good to give God the credit and I believe you mean that from your heart, It is God’s holy spirit – supernatural power – that is working in the leaders and servants at Faith Promise. God is doing great things through His servants at Faith Promise. I encourage all to not grow weary, God is using you to be a part of spreading his message to others for His Glory. I can’t wait to see all the things God has planned at Faith Promise – when His people seek Him daily in prayer, are obedient and serve him with all their heart, He will pour out blesses upon His people.
