Last Post from Down Under
Hey Guys,
I thank you for your prayers – this has been a fantastic week in Jesus. I haven’t been this fired up in a while and I am grateful for the Lord’s goodness and grace. I am preparing for the last night and my mind is reeling. There is so much I could share. I have already started to rewrite my notes and remember all the great thoughts I heard and could write down. One of the many thoughts that blew me away came from Louie Giglio, Pastor of Passion City Church in Atlanta. He is the founder of “Passion,” a great world-wide college movement for Jesus.
He said we were to have “Passion.” He used the definition he found when he started the ministry: “What you are willing to endure to accomplish the goal.” WOW, that is a different take on how most of us see it. I think of passion as zeal, fire, and heart for something. That is a great definition and ministry mind-expander. I always wondered why they called Christ’s last week here and the cross passion week. It is what HE was willing to endure to achieve the goal – our salvation.
What are we willing to endure to make His name famous? We live in a day of Christian celebrities, headliner ministries, and P.R. campaigns that go worldwide. Our job is to make Him famous! We are supposed to be willing to endure anything to make it happen, even DEATH. Mind-blowing. That is a global vision “i” can buy into, how about you?
Together, let’s make Him more famous. He said, “If I be lifted up, I will draw all men to me.” Let’s lift the one that was lifted up on our cross. What a week of REVIVAL. I hope it helped you. I can’t wait until next week at FPC.
I love you,
Pastor

I will stand on the belief that the manifestation of the Holy Spirit seen in the first century Christian Church is available to all Yashua (Jesus) believing Christians and ought to be experienced and used today.
Speaking in tongues, healing and miracles shall be seen and a part of the Revival to come across FP.
Is the family ready to get off milk and into the meat of what God has in store for all creation and the redeemed children of the Lord?
There is nothing to hold me back. DEATH came to me 5 months ago when I had heart failure. I lost my job near to two years ago. God has seen to it that I’ve had food, shelter, clothing,a doctor willing to see me on credit/paying what I can when I can and transportation. What I may lose is some friends who will not understand me. Will say I’m a Charismatic Nut. They may even try to quiet me. I shall daily up life Yashua (Jesus)as ALIVE!!!!!!to all who will lesson. I give praise out loud that God is Almighty and creator of the Cosmos. May the Lord Bless You and Keep You and yours fired up for the Kingdom.
God has given me this day to lift my voice and say-
Glory to God in the highest and Shalom (peace) to all man kind. Let there be Passion for Gods Kingdom to come!!!!!!!!!
Chris,
Love your passion Brother! Have you read Crazy Love by Frances Chan or The Hole in the Gospel by Richard Stern. I truly think you would enjoy these books for different reasons. Of course, I am going to have to borrow Louie’s quote!
There is something going on right now in several churches you can feel the fresh annointing of the power of God. Pastors, Staff Leaders, Elders and passionaite people are beginning to challange the status quo of Church thelogy and start to ask the question what if…what if we do church as Jesus really taught it, what if we do church as they did in Acts. What if we stop building infratures centered on us and start using the money instead to impact the world.
What if Church members truly start to understand the urgency of the mission and realize since time began, time has been running out. Jesus came to speak the word to us and to instruct us on what to do.
What if we (including myself) stop building/buying big better homes, cars etc and truly dive in to help the world. What if church members gave just 2% of their time (one week) to serve internationally and another 5% locally (starting point). What if we truly focused on God? What would happen? What if we understood Jesus is not some meek individual begging for us to go to Him, but a Glorious King who has appointed to reach the lost. What if we understood this is an emergency? People dying of maleria is more important then buying something new for the house, what if we realized our money is not ours it’s His.
Sorry for the length…God has been pouring into me over the last few years and challenged me in so many different ways.
