Leaders Make a Difference
Hey Friends,
As we watch the world and see the same problems surface, I wonder what the answer is. The Bible is clear that the Church is the answer and the only hope for the world. Has a political system been the answer? Has the White House fixed the problems? What about the military or education system? Nope! Look at every organization where we place our hope and trust. No change.
God planned for the Church to make the difference. It is the only organization that can. Sadly the Church does not see this as our job nor do we think we can. If we think we can’t, then we can’t. “Where there is no vision the people…”
The Church has become a great thermometer and a poor thermostat. We are great at pointing out the problems and weak at finding a way to change them. WE HAVE THE POWER OF GOD AND WE OWN THE KEYS TO THE KINGDOM!
Why do we sit around wringing our hands when we have the power and the plan to make the needed changes and to make a difference? The world is waiting for someone with the answers and we are hoarding it.
The Church deserves visionary leadership and God demands it. Come on leaders, let’s turn up the temperature! Time to quit telling the temperature and start setting it. I believe it is part of our calling, passion, and job – how about you?
Just a thought for the day.
Yours to count on.
Pastor

This gets me fired up and ready for the war. Cash for clunkers should be the last thing on our mind. We need revival,a Christ for Clunkers campaign…we/ the world are the clunkers. If all leaders got there groove on we would make a deep impact for the kingdom. Im ready put me in coach!
We have even heard our current President say that this country is no longer a Christian nation. We sat quitely and let him say it. I don’t agree with where our country is headed and like to see “the people” out in protest exercising their God given right, BUT why haven’t we/”the church” taken a stand in opposition to that comment??? Is that a movement that FPC can lead? Although mainstream media may refuse to cover it, I believe a majority would join, and Christ could be seen/heard through us.
Thanks Pastor for stirring our hearts!
so I’m clear in what I mean…..I’m advocating a nation’s stand in unison for Christ (in praise and worship),not an outright screaming protest against the government.
Just in case anyone wondered what I meant.
@ Shane so true, thanks bro.
@ Cynthia WE musut stand.
