Questions Can Change Your Life!
Hey Friends,
I just got back from West Palm Beach where I was with my friend and leadership mentor, John Maxwell. The weather was an unpleasant shock to my system upon my return! During one of the sessions at the Roundtable, John made a statement: “Statements can impact you but questions can change your life.” As I sat and listened to some amazing leaders like Chris Hodges of Church of the Highlands, Robert Morris of Gateway Church, and Todd Mullins of Christ Fellowship Church, these are some of the HARD questions that hit my mind:
1. What boundaries has God given me for ministry? If He gave Israel boundaries for their country and where not to go, do we have boundaries? Can we reach too far to places He did not give us?
2. Do I see the value in people?
3. Am I really experiencing silence and solitude?
4. What was the last Word the Lord gave me?
5. Do I work harder at growing myself inside than I do outside?
6. Will I finish well, and what does that look like?
7. Am I a leader driven by the Presence of the Lord?
8. What am I doing that will bring supernatural results?
9. Am I an extravagant giver?
These questions may not impact you, but they left me grappling with God. I have to admit I did not like some of my answers. I used to be an extravagant giver; not so much today. That hurt – I guess it’s easy to live off of yesterday’s manna.
As you can tell I had some repenting to do. I also have some changes to make. See, questions really can change your life.
How were your answers? I’ll bet the Lord has some changes He desires in you. What do you think?
Just questions…
Love you,
Pastor Chris

I didnt like some of my answers either and I know the Lord has some changes He desires in me. Cant wait to see what they are! I honestly needed to ask myself some of these questions today so thank you for posting them Im going to write them down and work on them and so that one day soon Ill actually like all of my answers. Have a blessed day Pastor Chris!
Great questions…..they require me to ponder….Thanks PC!
Convicting to say the least. As a pastor myself, I can easily slip into production mode and neglect to minister from the outflow of being in the very presence of Jesus. Good Stuff Dr. Chris and since I am just about an hour north of you, I look forward to your LIT conference. God Bless.
