The Future?
Hey Gang,
Every time I turn on the news another “Expert” is predicting how long the recession will last. Some say it’s over now and some say it will be 2 more years. No one ones! Except God that is. He knows the future, and all my money is on Him. How do you view the future? Do you think this year will be better than the last? Do you have an abundance mentality? Do you believe there is enough to go around or do you need to hoard what you have? The answers to these questions reflect your faith. So many today have so little faith. How would you measure your faith? A little or a lot? Your future and your whole life will be framed by your faith. I believe I will make the greatest leaps of faith this year. It is going to be a banner year for Faith Promise Church. I look forward to this year and to the future with extreme excitement. I believe we are in the last days and it is time for the 2 minute offense. We don’t have much time left so let’s get into the game and make a difference for Jesus and His Kingdom.
How do you see the future? How do you see the rest of this year? Let us know.
Love ya,
Pastor

Hey Pastor, I may have said this before, but we already have SO MUCH, even when it recedes, will still have SO MUCH! Even if a person went totally bankrupt, lost their home, and had to move into a mobile home or an apartment, or even a shelter, we still have a lot more than an inconceivable number of people worldwide. I was so broke one time before I got married I could not pay to get the clutch fixed on my car. I rode a bicycle to work for four weeks until I had enough money to pay for it. There are people in Asian countries that ride for dozens of miles on cruddy dirt roads to go to work to make 20 cents!
I know there are a lot of people out there hurting right now, and asking God why me, but everyone must remember, just being able to have your kids vaccinated makes us more blessed than millions of people in the world! There are so many little things that are easy to overlook.
How can God possibly be worried about a person that lost their home and had to move into an apartment when there are people living it huts made out of trash, and don’t have running water?
It is all very complicated, but God sees the whole picture. Imagine a person that has three kids, if two were living in an apartment, and one lived in a hut made out of trash, which one would the parent want to help? I can’t help but wonder if God sees it this way, he is after all our Heavenly Father!
I forgot to add this in response to your 2 minute warning comment.
Mat 24:32-35 (NIV) “Now learn a lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door.
