What Can You See???
Hey Friends,
Have you ever noticed the times Jesus was almost “shocked” at the faith He found in some people? “I have never seen such a great faith in all of Israel.” Faith has always moved the heart of God. In the light of that thought, let me ask you a question: WHAT ARE YOU TRUSTING GOD FOR? As you look toward the future for you, your family or your ministry, what are you believing God to do in you? For many, this may seem like a strange question. Should it be for us?
I know that God is more than able. Ephesians 3:20 says, “Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think…” I can ask a lot. I can think a lot. What do you see in the future?
For me, I see an amazing life with my wonderful wife. I look forward to enjoying her fellowship for years. I believe God is going to use my kids to impact His Kingdom in a big way. Both of my boys plan to go into the ministry. I have faith and believe God is going to move in powerful ways in both of them. My daughter is in nursing school and her husband is going to go to medical school. I believe our Lord will blow them away in how He will use them. No question in my mind. I look forward to watching them and even mentoring them to greater heights than God has taken me.
What are you believing for? What can you see? Do you think God is able?
I pray you will think about it.
Pastor

I love how your blogs provide “food for great thought”. I will spend time today thinking specifically what I believe God will do…….and write it down. Just like the prayer journals, it will be exciting to see over the years what my faith produces. Have a blessed week!
Without faith what do we have?! I love that I can have faith and believe that no matter what happens here on Earth, God will provide and protect me and the ones that I love. To me faith is hope, faith is reassurance, faith is knowing that I don’t have to worry or stress. God PROMISED that he will take care of us. I have faith that he will bless my children in ways that I cannot even imagine. It is hard to imagine people living with out faith! How depressing that must be. I am so thankful for a God that I can trust in! Thank you pastor for the thougth today.
I can see Jesus working in my families life. That we belong to God. I just can’t see it sometimes with my physical eyes, becuase we all know how we, as people behave. It is a knowing that comes through and says I trust in YOU FATHER. FAITH. It seems, as of late, that I have been looking at some things just beyond sight but I know they are there. Some days I try to convince myself O it’s just your imagination, but I know better. It would be easier if it were my imagination then I could just laugh at myself and give up to ordinary. God doesn’t have ordinary for His children but extraordinary for us all, if we just walk and LIVE by FAITH. This is what I see.
Good morning to everyone! I have a purely technical question–which I know will tag me as quite the computer illiterate–but now that I have had Pastor’s blog sent to my email each day, there seems to be no place to click and read the comments. Is there an easier way than going to Pastor’s website, I mean solely from the email link? Many thanks ahead of time for any answer…and hope everyone has a blessed and enlightened day!
@ Cythina Great idea!
@ Sherri Stand strong.
@ Sabrina Great thought.
@ Cathey I am not to strong in Tech myself I hope someone can answer your question. HELP
Think i have read this three times today trying to think of something.
I pulled out the PGP and found that most of the areas I wanted to grow in I had met…lol…no wander it was getting easy:)…so i have been thinking about it all day…How can I increase my goals to increase in “faith”?
Also, the Fuel Ministry keeps me on my toes…more like on my knees. I think working with people makes me “trust God”…that He is in control.
Thanks for pushing me again, Pastor.
I am holding on to my faith that God got me into nursing school, and with me holding on to that he will get me through it, I also have faith in him everyday for my marriage to succeed in every way that he has planned for it to, to benefit his Kingdom, Faith that my daughter only 13 months now will be independent and grow strong in her faith and love the Lord so much, be a real impact on the Kingdom for him, and my new baby whom I don’t even know the sex of yet, will grow strong and lead in faith of him, be independent and love the Lord as well. I never feel that me putting so much faith in him is too much considering ALL he has already done for me and my family in the past 2 years we have been saved by his wonderful grace, It amazes me everyday that I can trust in Him and the difference in trusting in Him and Man is that he is always there and always will be! I love how amazing and awesome he is and I will continue to live in my faith in only him to take me to levels in my life I never thought I would even see! I can’t imagine the possiblities! Thanks PC for the that thought!
God doesn’t create anything in vain, and although it’s easy to forget that fact, the truth remains…He has big plans for all of us! Personally speaking, I don’t expect my name to be in lights, or to have a million results when my name is googled. That’s not God’s plan for me. God’s plan for me is to be the exception, not the rule. My marriage will succeed and thrive despite all of the statistics. We will not drown in a sea of debt, but will still have plenty. My daughter will be raised on Biblical truth regardless of what is politically correct, and I fully believe that she is going to be a GIANT in expanding the Kingdom! I will support and submit to my husband day to day. We will serve others as the hands and feet of Jesus, and no other activity will take the place of that. The vision is simple, but the dividends are HUGE!!
Everyday I read your blog, I am challenged in some way-today blew me away! Went to a conferance couple of weeks ago and Priscilla Shirer’s message was God always goes beyond, beyond! and how He is far able to do more abundantly. That is the theme for our ladies tea this year also. I can not wait to see what God is up to-He is all about going beyond, beyond!Just trust in Him,it’s that simple.
WOW — great blog entry to facilitate thought. I love it.
Agreed. Good thoughts. Some times its hard to go “all in” and trust the Lord with our issues, our problems, and our future. He has the power and he will guide us and put us in situations to do good…if we trust him.
