Where Did Michael Jackson GO? (Monday)
Hey Gang,
It was a weekend of Michael Jackson media. You could not turn the T.V. or radio on without hearing tributes to him. The “King of Pop.” I listened to many of the stories just like you. Two things hit me like a ton of bricks.
One, is how two-faced the media really is. It was just months ago that the media made Jackson out to be a monster child molester. They staked out his home and the court room. Now Jackson is a hero and will be sorely missed. Do we have a memory? How dumb do they think we are. I guess they can do whatever they want and we will keep watching and listening. How sad!
The second thought I had was even more heartbreaking. Where did M.J. go? We know he left here and now he is in eternity. The Bible is clear that there is one way to heaven. I do not care what the culture says, the Scripture leaves no wiggle-room – One Way! Jesus said in John’s gospel, “that unless a person is born again he or she will not enter the kingdom of heaven.” Call it intolerant, bigoted, narrow-minded, or anything else you choose, Christ was very clear and specific. Why would God waffle on the most important issue on this side of heaven. That is how to get to heaven. He didn’t leave us clueless or to wonder. He spelled it out in Scripture.
So what do you think? Where did M.J. go? I don’t know. I have a guess, but it makes me want to get even more serious about sharing with people before it is too late.
Love ya,
Pastor

Chris,
We as Christians are constantly faced with choices. The question is how will respond. MJ,Farrah,Billy,Chris Leggett. Who is Chris Leggett – A North African branch of Al Qaeda is claiming responsibility for the death of a Christian aid worker from the U.S.
Christopher Ervin Leggett, 39, was shot several times by at least two gunmen.
They claim Leggett was allegedly trying to convert Muslims to Christianity.
Al-Jazeera television aired this audio statement from Al-Qaeda.
“Two knights of the Islamic Maghreb succeeded Tuesday morning at 8 a.m. to kill the infidel American Christopher Leggett for his Christianizing activities.”
Authorities are trying to verify the statement.
Leggett was from Cleveland, Tenn. and had a wife and four children
Please pray forhis family and choose wisely.
His life really sounds like a modern day parable told in Luke http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke%2012:16-21;&version=49;
=Get out of Hell Free=
A lot of people believe in the “get out of hell free” card. Here is how the get out of hell card free works.
1) You “pray a prayer” saying you believe in God. If you live in the south, this likely happens sometime between 6 and 16 years old.
2) Then when you are older, and out on your own, you stop going to church except on Easter, and focus all of your efforts on the world.
3) When you die, everyone knows you “believed” in God, and you have a piece of paper that says you were baptized so they all say you went to be with the Lord.
Here is the problem, and tell me if you disagree. The enemy and demons “believe” in God. So…… with that said, obviously there is a little more too it than praying a prayer.
Why would a person live like Hell, go to church once or twice a year, and then expect to spend eternity worshiping God saying Holy, Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God almighty. You would certainly be out of practice for it!
Really sad. Nobody is perfect or sin free, but lets get real. If you don’t got to church, you wake up every day and God never crosses your mind, you are NOT going to spend eternity with Him.
Just my two cents. I heard on the radio the day MJ died, the caller said, he has went to be with Jesus. People say this ALL THE TIME, and it is safe to say this lady doesn’t know anything about the man’s spiritual life.
